RECIPE: SPRING CLEANSE TEA
As warmer temperatures arrive in the Northern Hemisphere and trees begin to bloom, it’s the perfect time to spring clean, refresh your wardrobe, and rejuvenate your skincare routine. May we suggest our Head to Toe oil? It’s the perfect addition to your spring routine, providing deep hydration and a fresh glow.
We’re big fans of spring cleaning—not just organising your closets and surroundings, but also cleansing your body. A simple decoction can help with that! This gentle detox tea combines the cleansing properties of dandelion root, nettle leaf, and burdock root to support your body’s natural detoxification processes this season.
You’ll need:
1 tsp dried dandelion root
1 tsp dried nettle leaf
1 tsp dried burdock root
1 tsp dried calendula flowers (optional)
1,5 cup boiling water
Honey or lemon (optional)
Combine the dried herbs in a tea infuser or pitcher.
Pour boiling water over the herbs and steep for 10-15 minutes.
Strain the tea in a glass and enjoy it warm—if desired, add a touch of honey or lemon for extra flavour—or prepare a batch in the morning, store it in the fridge, and sip it cold throughout the day with a splash of extra lemon.
Happy spring days!
