Here are some tips for a significant contribution to the longevity and appearance of your garments.
HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR T-SHIRTS?
-
Only wash when needed.
-
Sort your laundry by fabric and color types. Whites go with whites, darks go with darks.
-
Turn your T-Shirt inside out.
-
Use an environmentally friendly, natural detergent. Do not use fabric softeners, bleach, napisan or detergents with brightening agents.
-
Wash in cold water only (30°), whether using a washing machine or washing by hand.
-
Re-shape whilst damp.
-
Do not tumble dry! Air out to dry in the shade, do not dry in direct sunlight as it might bleach the color.
-
Steaming is preferable over ironing, but if ironing, iron medium warm on reverse.
-
Turn your garment inside out, et voilà!
HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR SHOES?
Over time, natural leather will wear in and evolve, developing a patina. We recommend using a protective treatment to avoid general staining of the leather prior to use.
-
Using a natural horsehair brush or soft cotton cloth, take the dust of your shoes, without water or soap. (Don’t use brushes with synthetic bristles or micro fibre cloths.)
-
Apply a thin layer of leather conditioner to the shoe’s leather with a soft cotton cloth.
A neutral conditioning cream is convenient and can be used on all of your leather shoes,
but a color-matched cream will help cover small scratches, scrapes and scuffs.
Make sure it is water based and does not contain solvents. -
Work the cream in with circular motions.
-
Let it sit for 15 minutes.
-
Lightly buff excess cream off the leather with a clean piece of the cloth, or a natural horsehair brush, allowing a thin coating to remain on the surface for softening, conditioning and preservation of the leather grain and texture.
-
Keep your shoes away from heat sources, let them air-dry instead.
-
When you are not wearing your shoes, store them in the fig. dustbag.

Due to the nature of some deadstock fabrics, we cannot fully guarantee the fabric’s integrity.
